Registry
We are excited to have you come and celebrate our relationship and commitment to each other. We've been getting inquiries about a registry. If you would like to bring a gift, what we are hoping for is one of the following in order of preference:
1. A page for our wedding cook-book and, from those of you who live in town, a dish of something you love to eat for our wedding reception potluck lunch. The wedding cook-book page would include:
a. A photo of you and those in your household with names and, if applicable, ages of kids and/or pets
b. Your favorite recipe of something you love to eat.
After the wedding, we will put together a cook-book with one page for each of our friends with a recipe. Suzie is hoping this will inspire her to cook a bit more.
2. A contribution to our talent (talent not required) show that we will have at 7:00 Saturday. Contact Todd to let him know ifyou would like to do something in it at toddtall@yahoo.com.
3. A Donation to one of the following charities
Brighter Beginnings: Brighter Beginnings supports healthy births and children’s successful development by partnering with parents, strengthening families, and helping to build strong communities.
B.O.S.S.: "Building Opportunities for Self-Sufficiency (BOSS) is one of the most innovative and dynamic organizations in Alameda County working to end homelessness. BOSS combines personalized assistance to help families and individuals build new lives with grassroots advocacy to improve public policy."
Bay Area Rescue Mission: Since 1965, the Bay Area Rescue Mission has been caring for the homeless and impoverished of the Bay Area, providing food, shelter, warm showers and fresh clean clothes, computer-aided learning, and GED preparation for the mind; job skills training in culinary arts, warehousing, heavy equipment operation, office work, construction, security, janitorial service, and automotive sales and service; parenting classes, job preparedness, anger management, counseling, and personal financial management classes; and compassion, friendship, fellowship, retreats, outings, and prayer meetings. 88% of donations goes directly to the programs.
